About the Role

To be employed in this role, you must pass an enhanced safeguarding check.

Our stores operate 24/7, offering a variety of shift patterns. Flexibility is key, and weekend work is a requirement. We will work with you to accommodate your shifts.

Our in-store Pharmacies are popular with customers, who expect warmth, friendliness, and confidence from our colleagues. You will discuss personal health issues, resolve customer problems, and guide them to the right products.

You will spend time accurately assembling and processing prescriptions, promoting pharmacy services (e.g., Prescription Collection, Medicines Use Reviews). You will support the Pharmacist with patient services and work within strict Standard Operating Procedures to ensure high standards.

Part of your role involves collecting prescriptions from doctor’s surgeries and bringing them to the store.

We will support your development through training: completing an accredited course to become a qualified Medicine Counter Assistant within 6 months, then progressing to a Dispensing Assistant role, advancing your pharmacy career.

About You

You are friendly, organized, and eager to work with your team. You have good computer skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You enjoy problem solving, helping people, and providing a great healthcare experience.
