Overview

Our pharmacies offer a range of frontline NHS services, including emergency prescriptions and Urgent Care. You will provide both NHS and private services, ensuring excellent communication, empathy, and a strong focus on safety. Leadership and teamwork are essential to help bring the best out in others.

Key Responsibilities

A typical day as a Pharmacist involves dispensing, delivering services, managing the pharmacy team, and providing excellent service to all patients. You will conduct contractual and enhanced services, following company SOPs and professional GPhC guidelines and standards. You will report directly to the Pharmacy Practice Manager, supporting the delivery of agreed KRAs and reviewing performance to achieve deliverable metrics. Access to in‑store, regional, and home‑office teams means you are fully supported for all clinical or service queries.

Hours per week: 28
Shift pattern: Days
Typical rota: Saturday 09:00–21:00; Monday 13:00–21:00; Tuesday 16:30–21:00; Wednesday 09:00–13:00; Thursday 09:00–13:00 (weekly rotation repeats).

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Fully qualified pharmacist registered with the GPhC.
  • Accredited to deliver national and local NHS services and private healthcare services.
  • Excellent customer and patient care skills.
  • Driven and ambitious to meet business targets.
  • Proven leadership skills in a fast‑paced pharmacy environment.
  • Valid UK right to work, safeguarding qualifications, and DBS check.
  • Enrolment in the live update service and ability to provide qualifications and identity documentation.
