Your Role
At Asda, our Optical Managers are key to our success, ensuring the team has everything they need to deliver high-quality patient service. You will oversee the entire operation, manage your team of Optometrists and Optical Assistants, oversee compliance processes and procedures, review sales forecasting and department targets, and handle customer queries. You will also manage clinic operations and shop-floor processes to ensure the department is well equipped for customer needs. You will coach and develop your team and work closely with an Optometrist to maximise outcomes. You will need to be organized and able to manage your time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements: Fully qualified dispensing optician registered with the GOC; on track to meet the statutory CPD points requirement; confident in coaching others; able to provide excellent customer and patient care; driven to meet department targets; proven leadership skills in a fast-paced optics environment.
About You
You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire operation, leading a team, ensuring compliance, reviewing targets, and delivering high-quality patient care. You will coach and develop your team and collaborate with an Optometrist to achieve department goals.
