As part of the wider George.com team, our merchandising traders help drive the online commercial strategy for GM products by managing the product onboarding and online journey, enabling online sales and profit growth. They are responsible for understanding our shoppers and providing an easy, fast and friendly online customer experience on site.
In this exciting role, you will help shape future department ranges and strategies. You will interpret key insight metrics including traffic, conversion, basket analysis and market intel. Working cross functionally with stakeholders to manage online sales forecasts, identify risks and opportunities to meet or exceed trade performance targets.
You will attract customers to George.com using various techniques, tools and systems such as Algolia, Content Square, Adobe analytics, Salesforce, etc. Your role will be varied and fast paced and will involve working as part of a multidisciplinary team to manage your product catalogue, site navigation, search and promotional events. You will be working in an environment where simplification and innovation is encouraged.
