As our online operation continues to rapidly grow, we are looking for a Transport Manager to deliver the day-to-day operational standards within transport. You will manage and motivate your team to deliver the best standards, ensuring we meet our customers' expectations along with a friendly service. You will need to ensure the operation runs safely and smoothly as well as drive compliance around vehicle checks and our doorstep service metrics, ensuring our colleagues are doing their best to deliver orders on time, and with a smile.
If you are looking for a chance to develop in retail, this could be the role for you. As part of the leadership team, you will work on a rolling rota, which will include weekends.
About You
As a Transport Manager, you will have a proven track record of delivering results against KRA's. You will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be adaptable to change, whilst being passionate about doing the right thing for our customers by driving quality and adhering to process. You will be highly organised and a strong planner. At times, you may be solely responsible for the Home Shopping Centre, so you will need to be confident in overseeing the operation as a whole.
You will be naturally friendly and want to get stuck in, working with your team to deliver great results. You will have an enthusiastic approach and be a strong coach, mentor, motivator and role model to the section leaders and colleagues around you, driving performance and working cross-functionally, communicating effectively across all levels.
