8 July 2025ABOUT THE ROLE: This role will be based across Asda House and our Rochdale office.We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our team as an Accounts and New Business Acquisition Manager. As part of this role, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities with of 3rd party and internal clients for Asda’s parcel services. You’ll be responsible for the development of our solution in line with customer requirements to drive the growth and expansion of parcel services. You’ll analyse market trends, negotiate deals and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration and alignment with company goals. You will analyse our client volumes, performance and adherence to SLAs as well as constantly reviewing how to improve service to our customers. You will lead on exciting new parcel development projects to further improve our customer’s experience and business strategy. WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Identify client opportunities that are a great fit for our parcel solution
  • Secure new business opportunities working alongside the wider Commercial team
  • Work with Tech teams to on-board and integrate new clients
  • Develop account plans to grow volumes and achieve targets
  • Monitor volumes and performance metrics in line with contractual requirements and maintain standards, aligning with Service and Operational teams where necessary to improve the customer experience
  • Plan volume efficiently in line with client and business activity
  • Maintain pricing and commercial ownership of client portfolio, making key decisions with the Commercial manager
  • Lead new development projects and cross functional working to achieve goals
