About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive and people-focused HR Contact Centre Advisor to join our People Advisor team. People Advisors at ASDA People Services play a key role in providing comprehensive HR support to managers across Asda, operating 7 days a week to ensure consistent and high-quality guidance. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for employees, managers, and stakeholders, providing expert support across a wide range of HR processes and policy queries. You will deliver an exceptional colleague experience through clarity, confidence, and care, ensuring enquiries are handled efficiently, professionally, and in line with policy, process, and employment legislation. Your ability to resolve issues, support colleagues, and create a positive HR journey will be critical in fostering a culture of motivation, growth, and trust across ASDA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the initial point of contact for all HR enquiries via phone, chat, and ticketing systems.
  • Provide accurate advice on HR policies, procedures, and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Log, triage, and manage cases to resolution while maintaining service-level targets.
  • Support employees and managers in navigating self-service HR systems.
  • Escalate complex cases to specialist HR teams as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity across HR systems.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and process simplification initiatives within the HR Contact Centre by analysing trends in queries.

  • Effective stakeholder engagement including ability to provide right resolution to colleagues on their queries and concerns with confidence.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport and provide clear, confident guidance.

  • Able to work in complex multi-functional environments understanding end to end People function.
