This role is a field based role, covering the West Midlands region so candidates need to be located within this region.

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Greggs Regional Manager to join us at Asda Express. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing around 16 stores within a defined geographical region.

You will inspire and lead a team of results focused Store Managers to drive our strategy and business goals. This role is about working collaboratively with your leaders, analysing performance and creating and implementing strategies to increase sales, profitability and building brand awareness within our communities.

As a Regional Operations Manager you will bring strong leadership and commercial acumen, supporting your Store Managers to consistently achieve objectives, implement change, reduce waste, and identify growth opportunities. You\’ll also help develop internal talent pipelines and ensure outstanding store performance.

You will regularly engage with field operations and business leaders to set individual and store targets for success. If you have a strong track record in leading hospitality / retail operations and you are ready for a new challenge, then this role could be perfect for you!

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of Store Managers to deliver outstanding operational and financial results
  • Financial management inclusive of budgets, sales targets, labour control and expenses
  • Promote community engagement and brand presence
  • Prepare and review reporting functions to enhance performance
  • Strategic planning and growth initiatives
  • Work in line with the ASDA Values and be a brand ambassador
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and field operations teams to set and exceed performance targets

Candidate Requirements

  • Extensive Store Manager / operational / multi-site management within hospitality or retail
  • Full UK drivers licence
  • Flexibility to work across multiple locations within a field based role
  • Strong influential and interpersonal skills
  • Commercially focused with the ability to understand financial performance and figures
