Your Role: There’s something unique and different about being a Pharmacist at Asda. For us, it’s about always being there for our customers and providing great service. A typical day involves dispensing, delivering services, managing your team, and providing excellent service to our customers. Every day is fast-paced and varied, so no one day is the same in an Asda pharmacy. Our supermarket pharmacies offer a wide range of opening hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, to ensure we are always available for our customers. Our pharmacists play a vital role in their local communities, building relationships and offering expert care and advice, especially to vulnerable populations. Our friendly pharmacies provide a range of NHS services, from emergency prescriptions to Urgent Care. You will need to deliver NHS and private services, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate empathy. Safety is paramount, and strong leadership skills, along with teamwork, are essential to bring out the best in others. You will have support from our in-store, regional, and home office teams, and will receive regular feedback and updates. Opportunities to gain further accreditations for additional services funded by Asda will also be available.

Rota: Working an average of 32 hours on a three-week rolling rota, alongside an experienced Pharmacy Manager and team.

  • Week 1: Sat, Wed, Thurs, Fri 09:00-19:00
  • Week 2: Tue 09:00-17:00, Wed, Thurs, Fri 09:00-19:00
  • Week 3: Wed, Thurs, Fri 09:00-19:00

No Sunday working.

About You: You’re a fully qualified pharmacist registered with the GPhC. You are accredited to deliver NHS and private healthcare services. You provide excellent customer and patient care. You have drive and ambition to meet business targets. You demonstrate proven leadership skills in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.
