About the Role
To be employed in this role you must be over the age of 18 and complete a safeguarding check. Our stores operate 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, with that brings a wide variety of shift patterns – if you’re looking for flexible working to fit around your lifestyle, then look no further! We’ll work with you on your shifts, but weekend working is a requirement of the role and we may need to be flexible with your work pattern.
Working at an in-store branch means you’re representing two fantastic brands – Asda and the Post Office. It’s not just about selling stamps, paying bills and collecting parcels; you’re there to let customers know about the great range of products available, from savings to insurance. You’ll be able to talk confidently about products and make sure that customers have all the information they need.
You will also be responsible for using your initiative and conversation skills to find out what other products or services the customer may need. You will be responsible for looking after our customer’s mail and making sure all mail leaves the office with the right collection and you always ensure that you are following the Post Office’s strict security procedures.
About You
You’ll be naturally friendly and want to get stuck in, working with your team to deliver great results, as well as have good computer skills and attention to detail. You’ll care about giving your customers a great experience.
