This role requires on-site presence at Asda House in Leeds three days per week (Mon & Fri, plus one other day). Were really looking forward to having you around!We are looking for a driven and dynamic Project Manager to join our Data Team.You will be embedded within one of our functional domains (Commercial & Supply, Channel & Customer, Data Platform or Corporate), leading the successful delivery of high-impact projects that align with business goals and domain priorities.As well as project management, you will also play a key collaborative role within your domain; partnering with Engineering, Product and Architecture to support 3-5 Product squads. Your expertise in organisation, progress tracking, removing blockers, stakeholder engagement, and delivery will be essential to keeping projects and squads on track.What Youll Be DoingManaging Critical Projects Within Your Domain AreaLead the end-to-end delivery of key projects, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, governance, risk management, and scope control.Lead and coordinate the project team to stay aligned and deliver against the plan.Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders across the organisation to manage interdependencies, align timelines, and coordinate resource planning.Ensure all projects are delivering measurable value and aligned with strategic priorities and goals.Keep stakeholders informed through regular status updates, reports, and meetings.Ensure compliance with governance standards including Asda Technology Programme Management Office (PMO), Finance, Security, data governance, and data quality frameworks.Ensure project milestones and plans are fed into the domains Product Roadmap.Providing Oversight and Support Across Your Domain OperationsCollaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and Architecture teams to provide holistic support across the domain, enabling the successful delivery of the Agile product squads.Help monitor and track overall domain progress, to ensure strategic alignment and timely delivery.Assist with stakeholder updates and communications.Help identify and resolve blockers impacting delivery across squads.Oversee domain-level financials beyond individual project budgets, including run costs, resource costs, and submission of funding requests.Support the evaluation and estimation of new initiatives, helping to determine whether they should be structured as formal projects or delivered through product squads.What Youll BringProven experience managing complex projects within data or technology.Solid understanding of project management lifecycles and Agile frameworks.A strong track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and on budget.Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences at varying levels of the organisation.
