Job Description
Are you interested in kickstarting a career in Buying? Getting the details right can have a surprisingly big impact, as you\’ll soon realise when you join our team. In this fast-moving and ever-changing environment, you\’ll discover how much the little things matter. From daily sales and profit reports to admin support and marketing, accuracy is hugely important. Doing this efficiently will bring savings to our customers and our business.
You will support the Buyer in all areas, including sales tracking and analysis. It is important to keep admin up to date, including line listing, cost and retail changes, and liaise with suppliers to ensure deadlines and tasks are met. You will contribute to decisions on ranges and promotions, and handle store/supplier queries. Other tasks include raising and reconciling invoices and assisting with competitor research and day-to-day trading of your category.
