Join George as an Assistant Garment Designer in our Baby Boys’ department on a 12 month FTC. We are a leading name in children’s fashion, creating stylish, high-quality, and comfortable clothing for little ones. We’re looking for an Assistant Garment Designer to support the Senior Designer on our Baby Boys’ fashion ranges. You’ll help bring ideas to life, contribute to collections, and work across all stages of product development.
Key Responsibilities

Develop concepts, sketches, and CADs in collaboration with the Senior Designer

Create and update tech packs with construction details, materials, and specifications

Research trends and analyse the market to keep designs relevant and competitive

Support fabric, trim, and colour selection for seasonal collections

Work with cross-functional teams—including merchandising and buying—to ensure a cohesive range

Attend supplier and departmental meetings, supporting the Senior Designer with presentation and mood boards

Contribute ideas in brainstorming and seasonal design meetings

Deliver work to deadlines, aligned with project timelines and the critical path

Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activity

Degree in Fashion Design or related field

1–2 years’ experience in a design role, ideally in children’s fashion

Strong Adobe Illustrator and CAD skills

Good knowledge of garment construction, textiles, and trims
