The predicted salary is between 40000 - 50000 £ per year.

You will be responsible for leading, coaching and developing a team of Express Area Managers to deliver great service, colleague engagement and operational excellence. You will ensure your portfolio of stores are number one locally, evidenced through profitable growth alongside delivery of clearly defined KRAs and commercial awareness of the local market. You will role model and champion the Asda values and our Leading Asda behaviours, setting high expectations of the leadership team to act in the same way. It will be your responsibility to implement and embed change initiatives and new ways of working, while ensuring all stores are operating in a safe, legal and compliant manner in accordance with convenience company policies and procedures. This role is field based for which the Regional Manager - Express is expected to be regionally mobile within a defined geographic area across our retail regions, working to provide weekend cover on a rota.

You will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be adaptable to and lead from the front our change programmes, as well as having an eye for detail and an ability to execute plans first time. This role requires you to have considerable knowledge of store operations, multi-site, store processes and policy as well as a commercial awareness of the local market, competition, and trends within the region. You will look for opportunities to drive your areas performance forward whilst ruthlessly prioritising workload to ensure stores deliver best in class customer experience. You will be able to engage with others through great communications skills, build good relationships across large teams and have influence.

To ensure we balance moments where we know we need to collaborate together and the need for flexibility, Asda has a hybrid way of working with a minimum 3 days a week in one of our Home Offices. Over and above this, each area of Asda may have additional requirements which may require spending more days in the office, visiting suppliers, stores or depots.
