Are you detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about logistics? Join our dynamic team as a George Inbound Supply Assistant, where you'll play a key role in maximizing intake into our clothing Distribution Centres (DCs) by working closely with stakeholders across George Supply, ALS, Merchandising, and 3PLs.
Your Role:
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Build and maintain strong relationships across Supply, ALS, Merch, and 3PLs.
- Investigate and resolve internal queries to expedite goods receipt.
- Delivery Booking & Coordination
- Use internal systems to identify and book purchase orders (POs) into relevant DCs.
- Ensure DC capacity is managed effectively.
- Liaise with stakeholders to arrange haulage for POs.
- Stakeholder Support
- Coordinate with DC teams to ensure timely delivery and goods receipt.
- Investigate discrepancies in goods receipts.
- Support yard check reviews to manage container flow within DC capabilities.
- Transport Invoicing
- Accurately validate and process transport invoices using internal systems.
- Complete routine reporting aligned with weekly volumes and operational plans.
