The successful candidate will play an important role in the team, supporting the Senior Manager to develop and deliver key performance reporting to the Exec board and Senior Leadership, supporting the monthly in-year financial forecasting process and driving regular analysis and insight across the business to aid decision making.
- Ownership of cashflow forecasting including maintenance and improvements to the cashflow forecasting model, consolidation of inputs from commercial finance teams, clear presentation of variances to budget and the prior year, and reconciliation to the Treasury liquidity forecast.
- Preparation of the 5 Year Cashflow Plan, and the annual cashflow budget, including ownership of timetabling associated with the cashflow elements of the 5YP and budget and communication with the commercial finance managers.
- Support the Investor Relations team by providing analysis and insights for investor presentations.
- Play an integral role as part of a group seeking to improve short and longer term cashflow forecasting across Asda.
- Proactively drive analysis to understand, evaluate, challenge and improve cashflow performance, reviewed as part of the weekly cash meetings with the CFO.
- Support the Senior Manager and broader FP&A team in the planning and forecasting cycle, and in delivering insights to shareholders in Exec-level deliverables and insight.
- Support and drive ad hoc projects as required, strategic and cross-functional in nature requiring co-ordination across multiple stakeholders.
Your key customers will be Commercial Finance teams, wider FP&A team, and Controllership, with opportunities to present to the VP of Commercial Finance.

- Strong written communication skills and experience in preparing board-level deliverables.
- Strong financial / MS Excel modelling skills.
