This role requires on-site presence at Asda House in Leeds three days per week. We’re really looking forward to having you around!
Building and running experiments that improve customer experience and performance. This is a hands-on role where you will turn ideas into live experiments, working in a small experimentation team with an optimisation manager, alongside product, design, and research, primarily supporting Asda Groceries.
You’ll focus on improving key customer journeys within Asda Groceries, helping to make the experience simpler, faster, and more effective for customers. You’ll collaborate closely with product, design, engineering, research, and business teams to test ideas, generate insight, and deliver measurable improvements.

What you’ll do:
- Translate test plans into robust, production-ready experiments
- Build and run A/B and multivariate tests using experimentation platforms, ideally Dynamic Yield
- Ensure high-quality delivery through thorough QA across browsers and devices
- Apply a customer-first mindset while improving commercial performance
- Work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to bring experiments to life
- Collaborate with design and product teams to align experimentation with customer experience goals
- Analyse results and identify clear next steps to drive continuous improvement
- Contribute to improving experimentation standards, processes, and ways of working
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience in online experimentation, strong interest in test-and-learn approaches
- Experience with experimentation platforms such as Dynamic Yield, Optimizely, Monetate, or similar
- Strong front-end skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Ability to implement and validate changes in live environments
- Strong attention to detail and a disciplined approach to QA
- Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to interpret experiment results and translate them into clear recommendations
- Proactive and adaptable, comfortable taking ownership and working across different problems without close direction
This position is open to flexible working / job share / part-time working.
To ensure we balance moments where we know we need to collaborate together and the need for flexibility, Asda has a hybrid way of working with a minimum 3 days a week in one of our Home Offices. Over and above this, each area of Asda may have additional requirements which may require spending more days in the office, visiting suppliers, stores or depots.
