Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for overseeing and managing the entire operation.
  • You will manage a team of optometrists and optical assistants.
  • Oversee compliance processes and procedures.
  • Review sales forecasting and department targets.
  • Deal with customer queries.
  • Daily responsibilities include clinic management and ensuring the department is well equipped for customer needs.
  • Working in close partnership with an Optometrist, you coach and develop the team.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • A fully qualified dispensing optician registered with the GOC.
  • On track to meet the statutory points requirement for CPD.
  • Confident in coaching others.
  • Proven leadership skills in a fast‑paced Optics environment.
  • Organised and able to manage time effectively.
  • Driven and ambitious to ensure the department meets its targets.
