About the Role: To be employed in this role, you must pass an enhanced safeguarding check. Our stores operate 24/7, offering flexible shift patterns. Weekend work is required, and flexibility with work patterns may be needed. Our in-store pharmacies are popular, and staff should provide friendly, confident service, discussing personal health issues, resolving customer problems, and guiding customers to the right products. You will assemble and process prescriptions accurately, promote pharmacy services (e.g., Prescription Collection, Medicines Use Reviews), support the Pharmacist in patient service delivery, and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures. You will also collect prescriptions from doctors' surgeries on behalf of customers. We will support your development through accredited training to become a qualified Medicine Counter Assistant within 6 months, progressing to a Dispensing Assistant to advance your pharmacy career.
About You: You are friendly, organized, eager to work with your team, and possess good computer skills, attention to detail, and strong communication. You enjoy problem-solving, helping people, and providing excellent healthcare experiences.
