Reporting into the Area Manager, the Pharmacy Practice Manager role is a hybrid of patient care and commercial focus that requires a strong leader with a passion for Healthcare, patients and driving a profitable business. The role is accountable for delivering all Pharmacy-related targets and deadlines and for managing the store Pharmacist and Pharmacy Colleagues, supporting the drive to make Asda Pharmacy the best in class.
Key Responsibilities
- Accountable for delivering all Pharmacy-related targets and deadlines.
- Manage the store Pharmacist and Pharmacy Colleagues.
- Lead, coach and develop the pharmacy team to deliver excellent patient experience while maintaining high standards of professional customer service and compliance with GPhC operating standards and clinical governance.
- Maintain high standards of patient safety and achieve exceptional levels of patient safety.
- Provide support and development for all direct reports and locums.
Qualifications & Experience
- Fully qualified pharmacist registered with the GPhC.
- Experienced in line managing and pharmacy practice.
- Capable of balancing managerial responsibilities with pharmacy duties while delivering a safe working environment.
- Experience in challenging, confronting and solving difficult situations, maintaining strong connections with in-store and field teams.
- Valid GPhC registration, evidence of right to work in the UK, relevant safeguarding qualifications and DBS check.
- Enrolled in live update service.
