We are advertising for a Data & Duty Coordinator to support the Data & Duty Manager within the Non‑Food Sourcing team. This is a specialist role within a central team. You will be producing shipment, duty and commodity data in an easily digested format that is informative and relevant to the varied audience.
Main Responsibilities
- Produce shipping reports to support invoicing for 3rd party business partners.
- Utilise internal duty data to build monthly checking reports and support the internal compliance process.
- Monitor commodity data and present to trading teams in a format that supports fact-based negotiation.
- Support with seasonal production of margin building blocks and accurate data for seasonal range plan builds.
- Assist with the development of new technology and future systems solutions that support duty, commodity data and future tax requirements.
- Support with compliance and audits.
- Support with the management of third‑party sourcing offices, including PO raising and taking minutes in quarterly reviews.
- Support the non‑food sourcing team with additional tasks as required.
Skills and Requirements
- Excellent communication skills.
- Being adaptable to work across systems.
- Being adaptable to work across multiple teams both internally and externally.
- Knowledge of Excel is a must - being able to combine data from several sources to produce information for the sourcing, trading teams and directorate.
- Being able to handle large quantities of data and be able to simplify and present to stakeholders.
To ensure we balance moments where we know we need to collaborate together and the need for flexibility, Asda has a hybrid way of working with a minimum of 3 days a week in one of our Home Offices. Over and above this, each area of Asda may have additional requirements which may require spending more days in the office, visiting suppliers, stores or depots.
