It’s all about the numbers; what you see, the decisions you take and how you impact that bottom line. About the role: As a Merchandising Assistant for our Cook and Dine category, in this incredibly fast-moving environment, you’ll be part of the team that builds and executes a unique to George Home product proposition across all channels to meet our customers’ needs and deliver commercial value. Using data, you will analyse the past buying behaviours of our customers and then track and react to the current sales performance of George products in our stores. You will also be working closely with suppliers and alongside our Buyers, you’ll agree budgets and trading plans to optimise sales and deliver stylish and affordable pieces that have the power to inspire joy and bring an unexpected smile to our customers.
About You: Commercially aware and driven by financial success. Ability to interpret data and focus on what will deliver value to the business. Agile, flexible, open to change and with a test-and-learn mindset, comfortable working at pace. Self-starter, happy taking accountability and creative in problem solving. Confident, inclusive and engaging in communication.
