Responsibilities
- Engage and collaborate with team members and business partners to assess, design, and build intelligent automation solutions.
- Manage infrastructure and tooling related to Automation.
- Mentor and provide guidance to Automation Developers.
- Review and mature existing development standards.
- Lead proofs of concept on new tools and technologies.
- Work with third-party vendors and internal squads to embed best practices into the SDLC and contribute to new ideas and ways of working.
- Lead technical initiatives such as increasing the use of Agentic AI.
About the role
This role is ideal for someone who has worked as a Lead Developer previously and is able to lead a team, drive technical excellence, and has excellent stakeholder management skills to deliver change. Qualifications
- UiPath development experience in an intelligent automation environment.
- Experience working in an Agile delivery model.
- Database experience in Microsoft SQL and other cloud-based environments.
- Experience using published APIs.
- MS Power App development experience.
- Experience mentoring and guiding others.
Working arrangements
We have a hybrid way of working with a minimum of 3 days a week in one of our home offices. Over and above this, each area of Asda may have additional requirements which may require spending more days in the office, visiting suppliers, stores or depots.
