As a Data Analyst within our growing Digital Operations team, you'll be joining us at a pivotal moment. We're building a brand new analytics capability for George.com, laying the foundations for how we measure performance, understand our customers, and plan for the future. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their analytics career to help shape how we work, learn from experienced analysts, and see your insights directly influence decisions across one of the UK's most recognisable retail brands. Working alongside the wider George digital team, you'll support reporting, surface meaningful insights, and help us understand what really matters to customers shopping online.

Responsibilities

  • Support core reporting across George.com, pulling data, building dashboards, and ensuring teams have the information they need to make confident decisions.
  • Analyse customer behaviour to help us understand how people shop online, where they get stuck, and where we can improve the experience.
  • Turn data into insight by identifying trends, spotting opportunities, and sharing clear recommendations with the Digital Operations team.
  • Work closely with product, UX, trading, and analytics colleagues to support projects that improve the customer journey and drive commercial performance.
  • Play an active role in shaping how our new analytics function operates, helping us build the tools, processes, and ways of working that will support George.com for years to come.

Qualifications

  • You have some experience working in a data analysis role, or you're a recent graduate with the right mindset and a passion for learning.
  • You're comfortable working with data tools and eager to grow your technical skills.
  • You're curious, proactive, and excited by the idea of helping to build something new within a fast paced digital retail environment.
  • You enjoy solving problems, asking questions, and turning numbers into stories that people can act on.
  • You're a strong communicator who can work well with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Most importantly, you care about improving the customer experience and want to make a real impact on how George.com evolves.
