Asda's Cyber Security function is looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to join the Governance and Risk team. If you are a Cyber Security Analyst looking to pursue a career in an organisation that values building a strong Cyber Security function, this could be the role for you. The position requires attendance at Asda House in Leeds for a minimum of three days per week. Responsibilities
- Perform risk analysis reviews on systems and solutions, identifying security control gaps, the risks they present and defining remediation options.
- Manage customer expectations and requirements across a broad technical security environment.
- Build relationships with multiple internal business stakeholders.
- Deliver all work to the highest standard, following and driving industry best practice at every opportunity.
- Help spread Cybersecurity Awareness across business units.
- Support the delivery and processing of Security Service to ensure that requests are worked and resolved quickly and efficiently.
- Regularly suggest new initiatives and innovative ideas to improve ways of working and enhance service and support offered to customers.
- Demonstrate a customer service mindset to deliver high‑quality, results‑driven, business‑focused security solutions.
- Innovate approaches to security to help ASDA be industry leaders in customer and business security.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge and experience of security risk analysis for technical solutions.
- Apply knowledge of security frameworks and policies such as PCI, ISO27001, GDPR and NIST.
- Engage with a cross‑section of stakeholders, both technical and non‑technical, at various levels of seniority.
- Adopt a pragmatic, business‑focused approach to cybersecurity, analysing all aspects of risk and benefit.
- Show passion for cybersecurity and a desire to continually learn, develop and innovate.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Have a proven track record in a similar role and be able to demonstrate the required skills to fulfil these responsibilities.
- Show demonstrable knowledge of security technology and how it reduces or eliminates risk in an enterprise.
Working Arrangement
Asda offers a hybrid working model with a minimum of three days per week in one of our Home Offices. Some areas may require additional days in the office, or visits to suppliers, stores or depots.
