Responsibilities

  • Lead the transport operation within the department, ensuring goods move safely, legally, and on time.
  • Achieve departmental KRAs while supporting the wider depot strategy and ensuring every journey runs smoothly.
  • Report to the Shift Manager and oversee day-to-day transport activity, including scheduling and vehicle deployment.
  • Monitor delivery accuracy and apply established procedures; carry out routine checks to ensure compliance with legal requirements and Asda standards.
