Your Role
At Asda, a Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing medicine, delivering NHS and private pharmacy services, managing the pharmacy team and ensuring all customers receive excellent, safe, and timely care. Each day is fast‑paced and varies from early morning to late evening and weekends to meet our customers’ needs.
Responsibilities
- Dispense prescriptions and provide medication advice.
- Deliver NHS services such as emergency prescriptions and Urgent Care.
- Maintain medication safety standards and practise good communication.
- Lead and coach pharmacy staff in a fast‑paced environment.
Qualifications and Experience
- Fully qualified pharmacist registered with the GPhC.
- Accredited to deliver national and local NHS services.
- Experience in delivering both NHS and private services.
- Proven leadership skills in a pharmacy setting.
