Reporting into the Area Manager, the Pharmacy Practice Manager is responsible for a hybrid of patient care and commercial focus, driving a profitable pharmacy business while leading the store pharmacist and colleagues to deliver excellent patient experience and safety. The role supports Asda Pharmacy to be best in class, coaching the team, maintaining GPhC standards, and collaborating with in‐store, regional and home‐office teams for clinical or service support.
The Pharmacy Practice Manager will lead, coach and develop the pharmacy team, uphold GPhC operating standards, provide clinical and service support, manage pharmacy staff, and ensure safe and efficient pharmacy operations.
Key Requirements- A fully qualified pharmacist registered with the GPhC.
- Accredited to deliver national and local services for the NHS and private healthcare.
- Experience balancing line‐manager and pharmacist responsibilities to deliver a safe working environment.
- Ability to inspire and motivate the team to meet defined KRAs.
- Experience in challenging, confronting and solving difficult situations and maintaining strong connections in‐store and with field teams.
