Responsibilities
- Drive strategy into action: Plan and execute all trading activity on the shop floor, delivering great availability standards, key metrics and KRAs through routine and processes.
- Lead with impact: Engage and coach the team to constantly improve routine and process, creating a culture of selling with personality and getting one more item in every basket while serving customers with heart and pride.
- Results-focused: Ensure shop floor, promotional and modular activity is landed to brief and on time, driving the store selling agenda.
- Talent Development: Listen with empathy, drive resilience and encourage ownership, focus and passion for the business by bringing the “Asdaness” to work every day, supporting the development of the team and creating an environment where people feel valued, trusted and motivated to step up.
Qualifications
- Experience as Team Leader or Supervisor in a retail environment.
- Operational knowledge of food or non-food departments.
- Knowledge of improving availability, reducing waste, and managing shrink.
- Experience developing teams and managing change through leadership and building resilience.
- Strong organisational skills and great customer service.
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings.
