To be employed in this role you must pass an enhanced safeguarding check. Our stores operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with a wide variety of shift patterns. This part‑time permanent position requires flexible working and includes weekend shift work.

The role involves:

  • Interacting warmly and confidently with customers
  • Resolving issues
  • Assembling and processing prescriptions accurately
  • Driving awareness of additional pharmacy services
  • Supporting the Pharmacist with delivery and record keeping of patient services such as blood pressure checks and stop smoking schemes
  • Collecting prescriptions from doctors' surgeries for in‑store collection

You will complete an accredited course to become a qualified Medicine Counter Assistant within six months and then progress to training as a Dispensing Assistant, furthering your pharmacy career.
