Your Role
Public health and wellbeing of customers is a top priority at Asda, and our focus is on delivering high‐quality patient care. With extended NHS service contracts, we provide comprehensive eye care, screening patients, coaching and training the wider team, and maintaining departmental standards. Our Optometrists receive a robust CPD programme and protected time for further accreditation funded by Asda, ensuring they stay current with evolving eye care needs.
About You
At Asda we aim to create a memorable customer experience. You will use clinical skills and passion to support this mission, working in partnership with an Optical Manager (a qualified Dispensing Optician) to combine clinical and operational excellence. You will coach, train, and develop new patient services to keep our offerings modern and accessible.
- A fully qualified optometrist registered with the GOC
- Registered performer with an NHS area team or health board MECs/WECs accredited (or willing to gain accreditation within 12 months of joining Asda – funded and supported by us)
- On track to meet the statutory CPD points requirement
- Capable of delivering memorable customer experiences using your clinical skills and passion
- Passionate about developing new patient services and shaping departmental culture
