We are seeking a friendly and efficient Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive exceptional service from arrival to departure.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Greet guests warmly and seat them promptly
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and hygiene
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
- Ensure tables are cleared and reset quickly to maintain smooth service flow
- Handle customer enquiries courteously and professionally
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area throughout shifts
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is essential
- Basic maths skills for handling payments and bills accurately
- Good time management skills with the ability to work efficiently during busy periods
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour
- Ability to work well within a team and adapt to changing priorities
