- Shape an editorial calendar that aligns with key racing moments, QBCD narratives, and campaign objectives with a strong focus on audience growth and engagement.
- Ensure all content reflects the distinctive QBCD tone of voice and brand positioning.
- Plan, capture, and edit video and visual content that brings flat racing to life from behind‑the‑scenes stories and jockey profiles to raceday excitement.
- Write compelling copy for posts, captions, and video scripts that connect with audiences across platforms.
- Create and edit a variety of content formats (written, video, graphic, image‑led) tailored to each platform's best practices.
- Lead and manage content shoots, working closely with videographers, photographers, industry stakeholders and agency partners.
- Deliver on‑ground social coverage at key flat racing fixtures and media moments throughout the season, particularly QIPCO British Champions Day at Ascot.
- Coordinate real‑time posting, storytelling and fan engagement to amplify live action and behind‑the‑scenes access.
- Work collaboratively with the Ascot team to ensure consistent messaging and cross‑promotional opportunities.
- Manage day‑to‑day posting, scheduling, and community engagement, fostering a strong and positive connection with followers.
- Identify and engage with key voices, influencers, and stakeholders across the racing and lifestyle spaces.
- Track audience sentiment and performance metrics to continually optimise engagement and reach.
- Act as the primary contact for external digital or creative agencies, ensuring delivery of high‑quality content in line with KPIs.
- Liaise with racing partners, teams and rights holders to coordinate storytelling and content access.
- Monitor and analyse social media performance across all platforms, providing regular reporting and insights.
- Use analytics to inform future creative and strategic decisions.
- Manage allocated budgets efficiently to deliver maximum impact.

- Confident creating platform‑specific content across all social channels.
- Strong understanding of social media trends, formats and algorithms.
- Experience with scheduling and analytics tools (e.g. Sprout Social, Later, Monday.com).
- Collaborative and adaptable, comfortable working across multiple teams and fast‑paced live environments.
- Willingness to travel for race meetings and content opportunities (including occasional weekend work, with time off in lieu).
