What We Are Looking For

We are currently seeking a Sales Executive to join our Sales team based in our offices at the racecourse in Ascot, Berkshire.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Generate and maximise sales and profit through up‑ and cross‑selling of all Ascot Racecourse products by targeted sales activity including direct mail marketing, inbound enquiries, proactive call campaigns, and exhibition visits.
  • Maximise revenue and profit by implementing a proactive selling plan across various sales platforms and applying best industry practice.
  • Continue to develop and account‑manage existing customers and suppliers to maximise revenue opportunities.
  • Apply a best‑in‑class approach to sales at all times and consistently achieve KPIs.
  • Research and identify new target market opportunities and initiatives to drive new customers to Ascot Racecourse across all departments.
  • Establish and maintain ongoing customer feedback and a high level of customer care for both internal and external customers.
  • Operate CRM effectively and accurately, ensuring it is kept up‑to‑date and provides clear information on sales pipeline, activity, and progress against budget.
  • Answer all incoming queries professionally and efficiently, converting enquiries into site visits/bookings.
  • Assist in promotional events and race days as required.
  • Liaise across the Racecourse teams to identify further ticket sale opportunities.
  • Continuously demonstrate The Ascot Way by acting as a role model through the Ascot values to provide the best possible customer service.

Skills and Experience You Can Bring

  • Proven sales experience with demonstrable success, preferably within sport.
  • Experience of selling to both corporate and private individuals at all levels is desirable.
  • Knowledge of sports marketing, key trends, and hospitality sales is desirable.
  • Competence with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Dynamics is desirable.
  • Passion for sports and willingness to learn about the professional racing industry.
