What We Are Looking For
We are currently seeking a Product Marketing Manager to join our forward‑thinking and vibrant Marketing Campaigns team, based in our offices at the racecourse in Ascot, Berkshire. As the Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a variety of B2B and B2C marketing campaigns to support key business areas, outside of our general race day admission. From driving hospitality and experience sales with corporate, trade and travel organisations, to driving venue hire for private events and sign‑ups for our premium memberships this role will require proactive networking, strong business acumen, and an all‑round understanding of effective marketing campaigns. We are seeking someone who is strategic and innovative in equal measure and will have experience of media planning, creative development, digital platform management, insights and analytics. Ideally you will have a consumer or trade marketing background, even better if that’s from selling events and experiences. This is a full‑time, permanent role.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Define and deliver a marketing strategy across B2B, B2C and HNWI with a robust plan to deliver sales across events and memberships in close collaboration with the Marketing Campaigns Lead and relevant departments.
- Be responsible for day‑to‑day implementation of marketing strategy and plan for Events at Ascot including private hire trade shows, filming, conferences, parties, weddings and special occasions.
- Be responsible for the day‑to‑day implementation of marketing strategy and plan to generate leads for group sales through trade and travel organisations.
- Be responsible for the day‑to‑day implementation of marketing strategy and plan to generate leads for our most premium Membership products.
- Work closely with the wider campaigns team to ensure the products are being advertised appropriately across our website and marketing platforms.
- Work closely with the wider campaigns team to inform how the products can be advertised through our marketing communications to known databases.
- Work closely with media agencies to ensure campaigns are optimised for performance to meet campaign objectives and KPIs.
- Work with Content and Production teams to create marketing collateral that delivers on campaign objectives.
- Support the Marketing Campaigns Lead by acting as a product champion and provide insight that informs business change.
- Identify growth opportunities to attract new leads and long‑term clients.
- Manage the budget lines for associated business areas.
- Act as a brand guardian to ensure consistency across communications and collateral.
Skills And Experience You Can Bring
- Previous proven experience working in a consumer and/or trade marketing role.
- Agency management experience.
- Budget management experience.
- Exceptional communication and organisational skills.
- A rounded knowledge of the media market, understanding key trends and insights across all digital and above‑the‑line channels.
- Working knowledge of and an interest in horse racing or sport is desirable but not essential.
