An important role, working alongside the Ticketing and Retail Manager (TRM) to oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the Ticketing and Retail Team as a whole. This is a full-time, temporary role for 12 months from April 2026. This role will form part of the team that will interact on a day-to-day basis with the proactive sales team to fulfil the requirements of the customers. It is the duty of this role to help towards the smooth operation of the ticketing team.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting and supporting with the day-to-day management of the Ticketing and Retail team and all the processes encompassed within the team.
- Line management of members of the Ticketing and Retail team, managing performance, conducting regular 1:1s and bi-yearly appraisals.
- Working alongside the current TRM to assist with the recruitment and training of new team members, and cross-training of the team.
- Supporting the current TRM with liaising with suppliers and contractors to organise and collate collateral orders, retail product orders, and coordinating the delivery schedule.
- Assisting with the management and coordination of the ongoing ticketing and retail budget spreadsheet.
- Using PS Financials to raise POs and approve invoices as required.
- Supporting the management of the Ascot Shop, assisting with management of raceday staff, reconciliation, and management of online sales.
- Assisting with the planning and recruitment of the Royal Ascot FTC team.
- Supporting the wider T&R Team with reporting and reconciliation of bookings through Ticketmaster Sport.
- Supporting the set up and reporting of the customer helpdesk – ZenDesk.
- Managing all inboxes such as Agency Bookings, Ascot Shop, Comp Requests, etc.
- Supporting the production, printing, fulfilment, and despatch of all admission tickets for all Ascot Racecourse events.
- Responding to enquiries on general admission.
- Handling incoming call enquiries with the Virtual Business Centre.
- Dealing with all aspects of ‘after sales’ care including cancellations, refund requests, and administration enquiries.
- Providing customer services support in the run-up to and during the Royal Meeting.
- Attending and assisting with all Ascot Racedays.
- Working closely with 1711 By Ascot on catering requirements, table plans, and other details of fine dining and boxes bookings.
