We are currently seeking an experienced Brand & Production Manager to join our creative and vibrant Marketing team, based in our offices at the racecourse in Ascot, Berkshire. As the Brand & Production Manager, you will be responsible for the management and implementation of our Ascot brands. From acting as custodian of the Brand Guidelines and being an authority on application through to overseeing production of some of our most important collateral, this is a critical role at a time when the Ascot brand is undergoing some key improvements. You will be analytical and creative in equal measure and have a keen eye for detail. You will be highly methodical in your approach to managing complex projects and will have experience of brand management, creative/design studios and print production. This is a full-time, permanent role.
What you’ll be doing:
- Acting as key point of approval and feedback for the development of materials featuring the Ascot brand, for both in-house and external stakeholders.
- Being principal custodian of our Brand Guidelines, ensuring they are kept up-to-date and accurate.
- Managing the in-house creative studio, defining briefing processes and workflow management for three in-house Graphic Designers.
- Line management of the Graphic Design team, ensuring they are clear on objectives and supporting their development.
- Overseeing print production of key branded assets, ensuring high levels of quality control on design development and negotiating best rates from our print and publishing partners.
Skills and experience you can bring:
- Previous proven experience working in a design and production-led role.
- Exceptional communication and organisational skills.
- Exceptional project management skills.
- A fundamental understanding of the key components of brand visual identity.
- A keen interest in consumer brands, keeping up with current trends and always looking for the ‘what else?’
- Working knowledge of and an interest in horse racing or sport is desirable but not essential.
