From hosting our flagship event, Royal Ascot, to pioneering sustainable practices, we are committed to building a global lifestyle brand, wrapped around the world-class horse racing we stage. At Ascot we believe in preserving the beauty of our surroundings and minimising our ecological footprint.
We are currently seeking an Artworker to join our creative and vibrant Marketing team, based in our offices at the racecourse in Ascot, Berkshire. This role is ideal for someone early in their design career who enjoys bringing campaigns to life through detailed artwork, asset production and versioning, rather than leading conceptual campaign design. You will support the wider creative and marketing team by producing accurate, high‑quality creative assets across digital, social and print channels.
You’ll play an important role in ensuring Ascot’s creative assets are consistently executed, correctly formatted and delivered on time – particularly across social media platforms, paid media, email and website updates. Your work will help bring the excitement, heritage, and sophistication of Ascot to life, ensuring our brand stands out and resonates across our communications.
What you’ll be doing:
- Produce and adapt on‑brand artwork across a wide range of formats, including social media assets, digital ads, email graphics, web banners and print materials.
- Support the rollout of campaigns by versioning artwork for different platforms, sizes, audiences and media requirements.
- Create platform‑specific assets for social channels (including static posts, simple animated graphics and story formats).
- Prepare final files accurately, ensuring correct specs, formats and brand compliance for digital and print output.
- Work closely with designers, marketing managers and content teams to interpret briefs and apply creative consistently.
- Assist with updates to existing templates, layouts and campaign assets.
- Act as a brand guardian by following established brand guidelines across all artwork.
- Maintain strong attention to detail in layout, typography, image retouching and colour consistency.
- Manage multiple tasks at once, prioritising effectively to meet deadlines during busy campaign periods.
Skills and experience you can bring:
- Some experience in an artworking, junior design or production role, or a strong relevant qualification.
- A portfolio showing clean, well‑finished artwork, ideally with digital and social examples.
- Confidence using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign).
- Basic experience creating simple animated assets (e.g. GIFs) is a bonus, but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and enjoyment of working through multiple versions and adaptations.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines.
- Willingness to take direction and incorporate feedback positively.
- An interest in brands, events, fashion, sport or live experiences is desirable, but not essential.
What you can expect from us:
- A best-in-class welcome with a tailored induction and racecourse tour, as well as a wide range of training schemes to help with your learning and development.
- Access to a range of wellbeing support for yourself and your family including a dedicated Employee Assistance Programme and Healthcare support app with 24/7 virtual GP access.
- Opportunity to make an impact in our volunteer week with a day out of the office to support local community and charity partners.
- End of year offices closed (extra 2 days annual leave added to your entitlement).
- Time Off in Lieu (toil) for working weekend race days.
- Clothing and hat hire.
- Complimentary race day entry for friends and family.
- Exclusive discounts in local shops and cafes.
- Exclusive discounts from selected partner brands and suppliers.
And let’s not forget, invitations to our monthly social nights as well as annual parties and afternoon teas to celebrate our most special occasions throughout the year.
