We are currently seeking a Graphic Designer to join our creative and vibrant Marketing team, based in our offices at the racecourse in Ascot, Berkshire. Ascot Racecourse, home to the renowned Royal Ascot, is a globally celebrated institution dedicated to delivering world-class horse racing experiences. We’re looking for a visionary Graphic Designer who can elevate our brand and captivate our audiences across our marketing campaigns, across both digital and print platforms, creating unforgettable visual stories that highlight our prestigious events and traditions in a contemporary way. As the Graphic Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping Ascot Racecourse’s campaigns. You will be responsible for creating high-quality, engaging visual assets for e-mail communications, paid media advertising, as well as other print and digital projects to promote our racedays and events. Your work will bring the excitement, heritage, and sophistication of Ascot to life, ensuring our brand stands out and resonates across our communications. Proficiency in GIF, animation and motion graphics is a strong advantage, as we aim to create dynamic and interactive content that captures our audience's attention.

This is a full-time, permanent role.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop world-class, on-brand creative assets for multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital ads, e-mail communications, website, out of home and traditional print collateral.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, content and product teams to translate campaign strategies into high-impact visual concepts.
  • Work with the wider Marketing Campaigns team and external media partners to ensure accurate output for required specifications and high-quality final deliverables.
  • Contribute to creative workshops and campaign ideation, bringing fresh, innovative visual concepts to the table to help us stand out in the market.
  • Act as a brand guardian to ensure all design deliverables are consistent with brand guidelines, across all types of formats including static, motion and layout based.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail in typography, colour, layout and composition across all deliverables.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising effectively to meet deadlines and campaign objectives.

Skills and experience you can bring:

  • Prior experience in a similar graphic design role focused on marketing communications, social media and digital marketing.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in digital and social media design; experience in the sports or entertainment industry is a plus.
  • Exceptional skill within the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier Pro, After Effects) is essential. Proficiency with Figma and other design systems is desirable.
  • Experience in other animation software is highly desirable as this element of Ascot’s content continues to grow.
  • Familiarity with current marketing trends, best practices, and visual styles.
  • Strong typography, layout, and colour theory skills, with an eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to take and incorporate feedback effectively.
  • Experience using workflow management tools and able to manage rolling plans and multiple deadlines concurrently.
  • A keen interest in consumer brands, keeping up with current trends and always looking for the ‘what else?’
  • Working knowledge of and an interest in horse racing or sport is desirable but not essential.
