Location: Hybrid in the North of England – with travel as required

Hours of work: 35 hours each week

SMCR Function: This is a Certified Role

Purpose of role: To support the Head of Adviser Enablement and Regional Lead IFAs to achieve outstanding client service, drive revenue growth, and retention in line with revenue targets.

  • Regional Adviser Enablement Lead: Supports Regional Adviser Leads to achieve individual and regional targets.
  • Acts as the conduit between functions and Regional Adviser Lead.
  • Owns and develops workflow processes and documentation to operationalise the commercial function.
  • Drives efficiencies through Centralised & Nationalised MI/BI, systems, and processes.
  • Identifies national technical training requirements & provides solutions in conjunction with L&D / Advice Quality Manager.

Leadership – Regional: Support Regional Lead IFAs and IFAs to drive business growth and achieve targets. Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to provide high-quality end-to-end service to the IFA community.

Growth strategy: Work closely with Regional Lead IFAs to devise a regional growth strategy to deliver annual revenue targets.

Process Improvement: Drive a best-in-class sales function by working with Product and Client Services to improve the advice process's effectiveness. Act as the conduit between support functions to identify improvements, problem-solve, and drive efficiencies, with client experience and retention at the heart of all that we do.

Target-setting and incentives: Determine, in collaboration with Adviser Enablement and Regional IFA Leads, the regional revenue targets and allocations for each region and adviser.

Client bank management: Work with Regional Lead IFAs on client allocation, including changes and reallocation of client banks to operate more profitably and in the best interest of clients.

Lead generation: Work with Marketing and Central Intelligence to ensure the right tools are in place to generate leads and identify opportunities within existing client banks using insights, marketing, and pipeline management tools (e.g., Hubspot).

Reporting and data quality: Collaborate with the data team to ensure all commercial data for the region is accurate. Provide reporting on performance to senior stakeholders, Regional Leads, and Advisers.

IFA performance management and development: Work with support functions and Regional Lead IFAs to monitor performance, compliance, and governance, driving improvement strategies. Identify training gaps and recommend remedial actions, tracking progress.

Regulatory compliance: Liaise with Group Compliance on regulatory matters, assist in projects, and ensure IFA performance is managed in accordance with FCA regulations, Ascot Lloyd’s scheme, and Fit and Proper principles.
