To assist the Delegated Underwriting Analyst in overseeing and controlling outsourced adjusting service providers, including Coverholder and Delegated Claims Administrators (DCAs), on a day-to-day basis.
Detailed Duties
- Drafting and issuing declaration documents for Delegated Claims Administrators (DCA) Agreements and Coverholder claims wordings.
- Schedule, attend and manage end to end DCA meeting process including minute taking and review.
- Assist the Delegated Underwriting (DU) Claims Analyst in reviewing DCA performance including the collation of management submissions and feedback of actions linked to performance.
- Setting up of new loss funding accounts, monitoring Vitesse loss fund activity and reviewing for post bind reports.
- Collaborate with DU claims Analyst to complete claims DA audit actions, including scheduling, scoping, report review, and recommendation issuance and closure.
- Run regular DA pre/post bind reports and complete the associated processes.
- Work to complete actions associated with any Delegated Claims projects and initiatives.
- Update and maintain DCA records.
- Work with DU Claims Analyst to deliver actions for Delegated Claims projects and initiatives, including project planning, tracking progress, resolving blockers, and project actions.
- Collaborate with the DU Claims Analyst and Delegated Authorities Data Manager in relation to all claim’s bordereaux processes.
- Be responsible for actioning any claims related bordereaux queries within SLAs.
- Ensure adherence to Lloyd’s DA Claims Principles and update processes and internal procedures as required in line with the Delegated Underwriting Process and controls frameworks.
- Complete actions and ad-hoc claims projects for the Head of Claims Operations.
- Work with the wider Claims Operations team on areas of cross-skilling and contingency tasks.
