About the Role:
Ascom is seeking a passionate and experienced Training Manager to lead the development and delivery of product and solutions training programs for our global workforce and partners. You will be responsible for ensuring that all training related to Ascom products and solutions is engaging, effective, and professionally executed. This is a global role with a direct impact on our operational success and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Ascom’s product and solutions Training Architecture and Certification approach.
- Design and produce eLearning modules using standard authoring tools.
- Manage product and solutions training delivery in collaboration with global and regional trainers.
- Oversee Ascom’s global LMS (MS 365): catalog management, participant tracking, and training records.
- Maintain and share current training materials with the training community.
- Create and maintain a global training plan including content creation and delivery.
- Coordinate with regional stakeholders to identify training needs and execute plans.
- Collaborate with Product and Solution Managers to align training with product developments.
- Onboard and support internal and external trainers.
- Drive knowledge exchange and cross-regional collaboration within the Ascom Trainer Community.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Instructional Design, Learning & Development, or related field.
- 6–10 years of experience in training design and delivery, ideally in tech or medical device industries.
- Strong experience in delivering Sales Training programs, including topics such as negotiation strategies, objection handling, and account management etc.
- Proven experience managing global projects (Project Management certification is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of training technologies, instructional design, and LMS platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English (additional European languages are a plus).
