Are you passionate about developing people, building strong leadership pipelines, and shaping a global talent strategy? Ascom is seeking a skilled Talent Management Specialist to become part of our team. This hybrid position can be located at any of our European offices and will play a key role in advancing our global people development initiatives. In this global position, you will play a key part in improving Ascom’s talent management strategies. Your focus areas will include Learning & Development, Succession Planning, People Development, Competency Management, and managing our global talent systems. You will collaborate closely with regional HR teams worldwide and ensure alignment across all markets while adapting strategies to local needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Learning & Development
- Design and implement global L&D programs linked to KPIs.
- Identify training needs and develop customized training solutions.
- Evaluate and refine training programs for maximum effectiveness.
- Strengthen our culture of continuous learning.
- Work closely with Ascom Academy to align global training initiatives.
- Succession Planning
- Support the succession planning process to secure leadership continuity.
- Identify high-potential talent and support development plans.
- Partner with senior leaders to align succession with business strategy.
- Ensure reporting, KPIs, and follow-up procedures are in place.
- Promote diversity and inclusion in leadership pipelines.
- Develop early-career programs (internships, graduate initiatives, etc.).
- People Development
- Drive people development strategies that enhance engagement and performance.
- Build and maintain clear career progression paths.
- Support and develop performance management processes.
- Coach managers and employees to support growth.
- Foster a positive, growth-oriented organisational culture.
- Competency Management
- Develop and maintain a global competency framework.
- Identify and address competency gaps.
- Integrate competencies into performance and development processes.
- Ensure compliance with audits related to L&D and skill management.
- Continuously evolve roles to meet future skill needs.
- Systems & Analytics
- Oversee talent management systems and ensure data accuracy.
- Use data and analytics to support talent decisions and strategy.
- Strong understanding of global HR practices and labor laws.
- Advanced skills in HR systems and talent management tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
- Strong project management capability.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2-3 years + experience in talent management, ideally in a global environment.
- Strong integrity, confidentiality, and analytical capabilities.
