We are currently seeking to connect with Effluent Treatment Plant Operators to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with experience in wastewater treatment, process operations, or hazardous waste environments to contribute within a safety-critical operational role. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Effluent Treatment Plant, including monitoring plant performance, conducting sampling and testing activities, carrying out first-line maintenance, and ensuring all operational, environmental, and safety standards are consistently achieved.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring and adjusting plant operations
  • Performing routine maintenance and equipment checks
  • Sampling, testing, and recording process data
  • Maintaining high housekeeping and safety standards
  • Supporting emergency response activities when required
  • Contributing to continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives

Candidates should demonstrate strong Health Safety awareness, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently within a fast-paced operational environment. Desirable certifications include:

  • IOSH
  • Forklift Licence
  • Working at Height
  • First Aid
  • COSHH / DG Awareness
