On behalf of our client ASCO, we are recruiting a QA/QC Inspector to support the Materials Management Team in the safe, accurate, and efficient delivery of QA/QC activities. The role operates in line with agreed service level agreements, procedures, and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and support safe delivery, leading by example and adhering to life-saving rules.
- Support the overall operation with the objective of zero incidents and zero NCRs.
- Ensure the safe, accurate, and efficient delivery of the QA/QC function in line with client SLAs, procedures, and work instructions.
- Act as a key point of contact for onshore and offshore users, responding promptly and accurately to queries.
- Escalate issues or discrepancies that may impact service delivery to line management and the client.
- Assist with general receipts operations as required.
- Maintain effective communication between internal and external stakeholders.
- Use and maintain a comprehensive understanding of client SAP systems and transactions.
- Maintain accurate and auditable records of all activities.
- Use and maintain a comprehensive understanding of ASCO logistics and transport systems.
- Support positive working relationships between operational locations.
- Assist with effective cost management, including consumables and equipment.
- Undertake ad‑hoc duties in line with applicable training and competency assessments.
Continuous Improvement
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to identify improved ways of working.
- Learn from trends, previous issues, and non‑conformance.
- Promote and support continuous improvement initiatives and activities.
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with key clients and stakeholders.

- Follow up customer queries, questions, and tasks in a timely and professional manner.
Health & Safety
- Take personal responsibility for undertaking Life Saving Interventions (LSIs).
- Encourage and support LSIs and site inspections within remit.
- Ensure high standards of housekeeping are maintained at all times, with clear segregation between people and plant.
Minimum Qualifications
- 0-5T Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck Certificate.
- IOSH Working Safely or equivalent.
