Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct daily checks and complete associated compliance documentation.
- Perform forklift duties as per operational requirements.
- Visually inspect all cargo prior to lifting in compliance with procedure, with particular emphasis on snagging hazards or loose objects, and capture all non-compliant cargo, reporting back to the relevant responsible person.
- Safely load/offload cargo to/from vehicles.
- Ensure the correct use of forklifts and lifting equipment as set out in legislative and procedural policy; if authorised to carry out lifting activities (Forklift Operations / Banksman & Slinger duties), ensure that they are carried out in accordance with the Company's Group Operating Procedures and Global Lifting Procedures.
- Ensure that formal procedures, standing instructions and safety standards are complied with at all times.
- Must be available to work at other locations; this includes other client locations as required.
- Must be flexible regarding working additional hours as required due to operational requirements.
