Location: Peterhead with occasional travel to Aberdeen

We are currently recruiting for Base Operatives to support safe lifting and cargo handling operations.
This is a hands‑on role within a fast‑paced operational environment where safety, teamwork, and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with crane lifts and safely control suspended loads
- Use slings, tag lines, and lifting equipment in line with procedures
- Maintain a safe working area and control access around lifting operations
- Support container loading and unloading activities
- Carry out basic equipment checks and report any defects
- Participate in toolbox talks and support team coordination
- Assist with general site duties as required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Good understanding of site safety procedures (LOLER / PUWER / HASAWA)
- Manual Handling and Dangerous Goods Awareness
This role requires a proactive and safety-focused individual who can work effectively as part of a team while maintaining high operational standards.
