ASCO Workforce Solutions are currently recruiting for Ad‑Hoc Drivers to support our clients' Ships Agency operations in Aberdeen. This role is suited to individuals seeking flexible, ad‑hoc work with no guaranteed hours. Work is offered on a first‑come, first‑served basis to a pool of approved drivers, so flexibility and availability are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving a small minibus to transfer vessel crew between locations
- Typical routes include transfers between Aberdeen Harbour/City Centre and Aberdeen Airport/Heliport
- Undertaking longer‑distance journeys when required, including travel to Peterhead, Montrose, Scrabster, Edinburgh, and other locations across the West Coast of Scotland
- Carrying out a variety of transport duties including crew transfers, small parcel and freight deliveries, and occasional medivac‑related and last minute transport requirements
- Transporting and delivering goods both locally and further afield as required
Candidate Requirements:
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Good knowledge of Aberdeen and the surrounding areas
- Confident, skilled driver with the ability to undertake long‑distance journeys
- Previous professional driving experience is preferred but not essential
- Reliable, flexible, and able to work on an ad‑hoc basis with no set hours
