ASCO Workforce Solutions are urgently hiring for Tank Cleaners. This role will encompass but will not be limited to the industrial cleaning of various tanks, vessels, silos and pits for a large client base. Some travel and time working away will be required to service client requirements. Applicants must be mobile with the flexibility to undertake work between both our Peterhead and Aberdeen sites. The role will also include occasional overnight travel away from home to visit client sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with all external and internal customers by communicating in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring they are left with a positive impression of our service.
- Use High-Pressure Water Jetting and Confined Space training/experience to work within a team and carry out approved methods for cleaning a wide range of clients’ process and operational plants, as well as PSV vessels and bulk tanks.
- Use company-provided technology, equipment, and vehicles to deliver industrial services and waste management to the client base.
- Act and operate in a safe and professional manner to safeguard the health and safety of yourself and others, including colleagues, contractors, visitors, and customers.
- Deliver on customer expectations for the service requested, making use of both existing and new technologies.
- Adhere to all stated policies and procedures relating to Health and Safety and Quality Management, ensuring formal procedures, standing instructions, and safety standards are always followed.
- Follow procedures relating to the correct use and care of equipment and materials for which the role is responsible.
- Be willing to work away from home as required.
- Carry out ad-hoc duties as required by the business, within your capabilities.
- Act as an ASCO representative as required, in line with all relevant operating procedures.
