Participation is required in a one week in four on call rota, with additional on-call allowance payments and overtime remuneration applicable
Purpose:
Day to day supervision of the AFM CRP & Warehouse facility, operation and team.
Roles & Responsibilities
General
- To ensure all daily operational tasks and processes are being carried out
- Managing and motivating Logistics Operatives - Heli-Freight
- To delegate duties and tasks to the Logistics Operatives - Heli-Freight
- Monitoring the CRP inbox to ensure all client requests are being actioned efficiently and in a timely manner
- Ensuring that all aviation security requirements are being adhered too
- Receipt, manifesting, screening, labelling and dispatching of freight
- Co-ordinating transport in support of AFM freight forwarding departments
- To ensure daily vehicle checks, forklift checks and monthly security checks are being carried out
- To ensure the warehouse rota is reviewed weekly, updated and distributed to the team monthly
- To assist Freight Manager with the review of departments risk assessments and procedures monthly
- To ensure all site plant and X ray machine is serviced regularly and all legislative / compliance documentation is kept up to date
- To assist warehouse manager with any client service failures and internal investigations
- To ensure all internal systems are updated to allow accurate billing
Minimum Qualifications
- 0 - 5T Counterbalance Forklift Certificate
- Recurrent Cargo Operator Screening (COS)
- Dangerous Goods by Air training
- Dangerous Goods by Air (Radioactive)
- NXCT – National X-Ray Competency Test for Cargo Screeners training
- Manual handling awareness training
